Magic Presents: It's Turtle Time! - Pick-Two Draft

Magic Presents: It's Turtle Time! is a special Pick-Two Draft event featuring Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This TMNT-flavored event adds exciting variety to our Draft schedule and welcomes both regular players and newcomers to Magic.

Important Information:

• Format: Pick-Two Booster Draft (keep what you draft)
• Doors open 12:00pm for a 12:30pm start
• Prizing: Players who go 2-0 receive the promo card

Special Event Rules:

All players begin each game with an emblem featuring these abilities:

• Mutant creatures you control have "Whenever this creature attacks, you gain 1 life."
• Ninja spells and spells with sneak you cast cost ⓤ less to cast
• Turtle creatures you control enter with an additional +1/+1 counter on them

Note: Player pods may opt out of the special rules if all players in the group agree.

How It Works:

• 4 Player Pods
• Each player receives 3 Play Booster packs
• Pick TWO cards from each booster before passing
• Pack 1: pass left | Pack 2: pass right | Pack 3: pass left
• Build a 40-card deck from your drafted cards plus basic lands
• Two Swiss rounds: winners pair against winners, others pair together

What to Expect:

Table signs will be placed around the play space highlighting the set's draft archetypes to help guide your deck-building decisions. Emblem cards will be distributed for easy reference during gameplay.

Players are expected to understand the basic rules and etiquette of Magic: the Gathering and can play unassisted. It is a requirement of the event, prizes and promos that you have registered with and use the Magic Companion App.
