Magic Academy: Learn to Play

Learn to Play is the perfect event for new players getting into Magic for the first time, or for experienced players who want to bring a friend to learn. 

Players will start by creating a Wizards account (if you don't have one already) and signing into our event, then we will then show you a short video or guide you through your first game, and our community and staff will be on hand to answer questions. Leave with a sticker sheet, or buy a Beginner Box, or Starter collection, or Starter Decks to earn additional promotional items! 

Magic Academy: Deck Building

Already have some experience and ready to level up your game? This is the perfect event to help you ramp up to deck building and gain experience useful to attend your next pre-release event in store! Players will start by creating a Wizards account, then we will then show you a short video showing you the ropes of building a 40-card deck using the Sealed format. Next, you'll purchase and crack six Magic packs and try your hand at building a 40-card deck, and we'll pair you up for some friendly practice games.

All events require the creation/use of a Wizards account - we recommend downloading the Magic Companion App and creating your account before you arrive for a smooth experience!
