Will tickets be available at the door?
Unfortunately tickets will probably not be available at the door, the event is expected to sell out so we recommend securing your ticket as soon as you can using the booking link above!
Who are you?
18xx Sydney convention is the brainchild of Andrew Rivett. The event is being organised by Behold Games (Teena), and Andrew is the event promoter.
What should I bring?
Your favourite 18xx game, your poker chips, and yourself!
There will also be plenty of games to join and play if you don't have your own.
What if I want to play a different type of game?
Absolutely fine the focus on the weekend is for 18xx games, if you wanted to come and play something else you're more than welcome to bring the game and see if there are takers (or register with a group of friends!). Last year due to it being a 1 day convention we didn't play other games but there were a handful of train themed non-18xx games available to play.
I (Teena) will probably be keen for a game of Age of Steam or any other medium heavy economic/euro/train games on the Sunday.
Will there be wifi or power points available?
There is wifi in the club, however it may be unreliable. Power points will also be available.
What food options are available?
Bankstown sports club has several bars (including a craft beer bar), cafes, and restaurants. You can also leave the club for some amazing Vietnamese a short walk away.
How can I get there?
Train: The club is a short walk from Bankstown train station.
Driving: There is parking available on the street, nearby, and underneath the club.
Do you offer refunds or ticket transfers?
Tickets are non-transferrable, and refunds will be available up until the 60 days prior to the event minus the Eventbrite fees and charges.
